Good Points

Lead-free, increase velocity. Perfect for low-powered air guns.

Bad Points

Too light for high-powered rifles, despite manufacturer claims.

General Comments

These pellets came with my Gamo Big Cat (1000 fps lead, 1200 PBA), and I was attracted to them because they were lead-free. They break the sound barrier, and so they create a sonic boom. Gamo claims they are stable at supersonic speeds, but most user reviews disagree.

However, with Daisy lead shots, I missed a plastic bottle 50 yards out 3 times, but with the PBA, I hit it on the first shot. I don't know if it's a testament to the PBA, or shows how poorly made Daisy pellets are. I have yet to take it to a range, and use it for backyard plinking. It has not killed any living thing thus far, but I might find a bird to feed my snake with...

I'm going to be looking into some Beeman Kodiak Double Gold pellets for my higer-powered rifle.
