Good Points

Small, Lightweight, Quality Build, Good image quality, Generally good all rounder.


Bad Points

Not a very high image resolution for larger prints and editing.


General Comments

A very nice all round DSLR. I have used this camera a lot over the past couple of years and it is a very nice camera to use. The body is lightweight and solidly built making it comfy to carry around all day. The controls are all well positioned and easy to use. The camera isn't too large so this adds to comfort and ease of use. Overall this is a great camera for street photography and for beginners. The quality of images is good up to 800 ISO, but becomes quite grainy at 1600 ISO. This is pretty much the only bad thing about this camera.
There is a huge range of accessories out there on the market so all sorts of set ups are possible. I would recommend this camera very highly to a beginner to photography, or to an amateur that wants a quality but affordable DSLR.
However, now that the D60 is out I would recommend that to any potential photographer, due to the better quality of the images.
