Good Points

Lots of passenger room. More than frugal. An ideal car for the city and for journeys as long as you have a break around 100 miles or so. Can be driven comfortably at 25 - 30 MPH in 5th gear.

Bad Points

Can be a bit jerky in traffic at a very low speed.

General Comments

I bought a Chevrolet Matiz Manual 1.0 SE Flare in Mica pearl black with air conditioning and a sunroof for £6,750 in September 2007. Along with this the car has a 3 year, 60,000 mile warranty and 3 years free servicing.
Not a Rolls Royce. But the Chevy Matiz is a great car, nothing gets anywhere near it for value and running costs. To date 12/11/08 it has covered over 11,000 trouble free miles.
We often journey 4 up with a full load of luggage to our holiday home in Essex, a journey of around 110 miles. I find no problem with the 1 litre engine for acceleration or traveling the motorway at the legal speed limit of 70 MPH.
