Good Points

Excellent entertainment, cabin and restaurant service, food to our taste and liking, outside cabin spacious and comfortable, we were on first dining, Fortuna had a good International atmosphere, friendly and warm. Office most helpful. We had special treatment as Costa Pearl Customers


Bad Points

Very large ship - embarking meant waiting for too long. System ok and ample tenders -long walks from lounges to gangways for the old and infirm - next time we'll book in our disabilities. We prefer the Restaurant to the Buffet - everytime Drinks too expensive, with service charge on each one. The advance prebooked table wines and water are good value. We found the spa service very good, but, prices were three times the British high street cost. Church service only in Italian. Could not connect with uk internet.


General Comments

We had a most enjoyable cruise, excursions were excellent and ports of call most interesting, especially Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes and Dubrovnik. We had three whole days in Venice, where we enjoyed the Water bus and ordinary buses were to schedule-and cheap enough at 31 euros for 3 days. Over 65's free in most public buildings, Venetian glass is a must. Waiting at Venice Airport is a problem - insufficient seats at check-in. Book a hotel near Piazza Roma or on LIDO.
