General Comments

Problems with my Siemens S35i phone from the start with the SIM card not being read. The sound comes and goes and even at the loudest setting it's pathetic. In difficult reception areas it's always the last on the block to find a transmitter.
Battery life never exceeds 48 hours. Still no way to connect to an Ipaq and so use the modem which is supposedly incorporated. Memory loss from time to time. Settings change at random. All in all it's a real DOG. I wish I'd stuck with Nokia.

I have used 3 models of Siemens phones, but I have never had those big problems as you encountered.

I have two of these phones and they both suffer from similar problems to greater or lesser extents. Both have been officially unlocked, but one will not now recognise the orgiinal network sim, and periodically rejects its current sim. The other occsionally rejects what ever card is fitted. They freeze on and i have to take the battery out which is actually the quickest method of getting either to close down.

now that they are unlocked I ahve discovered that you cannot use any of the pin or sim security measures becasue both after about six weeks will cease to work.

lastly they both ahve dodgy reception, even compared with a much cheaper A class siemens, and even worse, they are both unable to lcok on after losing a signal.

All in all expensive and very poor value.
