General Comments
Chocolate labs are perhaps the most friendly dog you can find. They are wonderful with kids, play continually and need lots of exercise. If you ever see chocolate labs playing with one another they recognise each other as being totally daft and full of fun. Lots of ear biting, leg chewing and chasing. Our dog is 18 months now and the best thing we have ever done for our family. Don't expect them to be useful as guard dogs. Our dog never barks, licks strangers to death and wags her tail continually. Not much of a deterrent!
