Bad Points

None really. It helps to take the time to watch the tutorial because the Manual leaves out a lot of details. For instance. The manual doesn't say how to use the software drum machines. When you select a drum machine and place it on a trac it will go for about four beats and then stops. But on my own I figured it out. You take the right mouse button, click on the bottom right corner of the drum machine image on the track and drag it across the length of the song. Or however long you want it to be. .........Problem solved. Now my Yamaha Drum Machine is also absolute.

The Midi software is too difficult to figure out in the Magix 11 Version. However, a friend of mine upgraded to the latest version and said that it blows the prior away.

General Comments

Simply put, this is the poor man's version of Pro Tools. It can do everything that Pro-Tools does. And it comes with a lot of free plugins such as voice pitch correction software and Mastering software. Since I purchased this product all of my original music has been written and recorded on my PC. My Fostex 16 Trac Digital Recorder is collecting dust.

This software has drums beats, guitar amp modeling, built in effects which are astounding. I've had A&R Reps from Record Companies as well as professional Sound Engineers compliment the sound that my songs have. It's not so much that I'm a great recording engineer. I'm not. This software is just so damn good and easy to use it makes it possible for anyone to make a great recording. I don't work for these people I just love their product.

German Engineering. What more can I say? The Germans gave us some of the most reliable technology that we have today. From Autos to Rockets and now software.

If you are serious about writing and recording music you can not get more bang for your buck than with this software.
