Good Points

Screen Quality (non-glossy), Keyboard is solid, Durable, Great HP support, Fast, Good video Card


Bad Points

Track pad gets hot to the touch, keys rubbed screen


General Comments

I bought this laptop new online from HP. I have had it now for a few years (can't remember what year I got it now). I have used it daily, carried it to class (heavy), and to study groups, etc. I was able to play the newest games on it when it was new because I opted for the nicer video card. I sent back to HP because the screen was rubbing the keys and getting messed up. I complained about some other minor things as well because it was close to the end of the 1yr warranty.

I sent to HP on Wednesday and received back on Friday of the same week. They replaced virtually everything to make sure there were no problems (screen, hard drive, motherboard, CD/DVD drive, etc). I had to replace the power jack after someone tripped on the cord, but it has run like a champ. Kicks the crap out of the Acer 9300 (dual core AMD, 1GB RAM, etc) my employer gave me to use. And we even downgraded it to XP.
