Good Points

Ultra light - even lighter than the tiny nokias. There are heaps of features, the highlights being the handsfree, four backlight colours, recordable features, very stylish, you can set a time for the phone to switch itself on/off (I find the auto off feature great cos I always forget to switch it off before I sleep - auto on not that good cos you still need to punch in the security code after it turns on), animations (only two, but the balloon one is cute esp when you send an sms), very cute ringtones - no other phone sounds like it..you have harmony and everything..you'll certainly put a smile on other ppl's faces when they hear these tunes...

Bad Points

I do have a few gripes...but you're bound to have some with any phone. First, I can't understand why such a phone containing so many funky features lacks the most basic feature of phonebook search. Plus, there is no voicedial. Instead, you have to madly scroll every time you want to phone someone or go to your most recent phoned numbers list. There is a "P" button feature which stores the number of one person and can be recalled quickly. Oh, and there's speed dial. But still, "WHY OH WHY Panasonic??"..That's my most major problem. Second, predictive text is great, but trying to punctuate and adding in numbers is a bit fiddly. I've gotta say..so often I don't even bother punctuating properly...but hey, hoo kares 4 speeling wen smsing?

General Comments

Despite the phonebook problem, I've gotta say that I love the Panasonic GD92 phone. In my opinion it's more of a girl's phone because it's small and light with cutesy colours and tunes. The unique and plentiful features surpass most other phones. Tho it doesn't have WAP (who can afford it neway), it does have an email feature which offers the advantage of typing up emails when "offline" whereas with WAP you have to do it "online" and pay the hefty rates. Personally I haven't utilised this feature cos all the email specification fiddly diddlies are a little beyond me...maybe I'll do it one day when I have absolutely nothing else to do but right now I find I'm OK with checking email at home or at work.
So I'll say it again. I love this phone. I marvel at how such a fantastic phone is not that popular...oh well, I guess the fact that not a lot of ppl own it makes it even more appealing as this only lends to upping the uniqueness factor of the 92 - which is what most ppl are looking for in a phone anyway (who wants to be one of the masses? i.e. Nokia hehe..nah, they're ok...)
