You have to have a chance to own and shoot all the old military rifles to know just how great the Enfield really is. Most of the people I know who bad mouth the gun are nothing more than "armchair" gunners who talk to hear their small brains rattle around in their heads.
The number 4 Enfield has the smoothest bolt action of any other WW1 or WW2 military rifle. With the ten shot magazine, it is unquestionably the best battle rifle, even when compared with the Mauser, and Springfield.
