General Comments

I'm a courier and have a PAYG insurance policy with ebike. Until June this year never had a problem with it. It was easy to switch the bikes or make any other changes. In June switched from CB500 to a Honda Transalp. The CB cost me £58 to insure when switched to the Transalp received a cheque for £30 so it made me thinking the Transalp insurance will be much cheaper. What a surprise! Next monthly premium £61! But the best will follow! The Transalp blew... so I bought a CBF500. And so I tried to insure it on my policy (as I've done many times) at 7am, they wanted me to pay £38 extra! So I paid. At 7:15 checked the policy - Your mid term adjustment is being processed so I turned the PC off and went to work. At about 8:15am I checked the policy again - the Transalp was still there! So I wanted to phone them found a 0906 number ( £1 a minute) after about 10 minute conversation I learnt that I abandoned the changes! So I asked haw that ' s possible after making payment? Then they said they will refund me the money and I have to change the bikes again. So I did again. After short while checked policy again and... Yes! Transalp. Phoned them again they than admitted technical issue and assured me that I'm insured on my CBF and they will sort the problem out. A week later... the Transalp is still in my policy! Phoned them, same story - I am insured, they sorting the technical issue out. Two weeks later, and that ' s the best bit... blue flashing lights in my mirrors... ANPR in the coppers vehicle says I'm not insured! I told them my story, gave names and telephone numbers (including 0906) they checked my policy and... guess what... TRANSALP! So I ended up with a £200 and 6 points ticket and advise how to contest it. The coppers were nice and friendly; believed my story so did not seize the bike. So I phoned them again they faxed me a cover note but is bit too late now I have to go to court anyway!
Today is the 9th day of the month, the day my policy is renewed (monthly PAYG). Just logged on... And... yes... Transalp!
Will phone them again tomorrow unless I get nicked again before I get to my office.
