- Value for money
Very easy and safe to use, cuts through wet or dry wood easily. Cuts cleanly and quickly through the hardest woods. Dead stop lock on chain stops it instantly.
Bad Points
Chain tensioner, impossible to use with gloves and difficult to adjust without gloves. Fiddly and a poor design.
General Comments
Would recomend this Bosch AKE 40-17 S saw as it works very well. I believe that the latest model has an improved chain tensioner.
