No water gauge. Iron has to be serviced frequently. Iron is unreliable. Poor customer service.


General Comments

I purchased this iron almost 1 year ago at an expo. The demonstration was great. But they omitted some very important information I feel. I was told that the steam would last for a hour or more. It lasts for a couple of shirts or if you are a quilter, about 15 minutes. You can't tell how much water is left in it because it doesn't have a gauge. In the demo, they touched the balloon with the iron, it didn't pop.. It might not pop a balloon, but if it touches something plastic, it will melt it. My iron steam button got stuck a couple of weeks after I bought it. It wouldn't stop steaming until it ran out of water. I called the company and they replaced it. The same thing happened with the next iron. Again it was returned. To make a long story shorter, my iron has been returned for either replacement or repairs 7 times in a year. It has had problems with sticky valves, leaking water, stopped steaming, incorrect boiler settings and spitting steam. The important information that they don't tell you when you buy it is that there are no refunds. That information is on the bottom of your receipt. Their customer service is poor. After you have had it for 90 days, they expect you to pay for shipping it to them. I'm waiting for my iron to be returned now...they have had it for over 2 weeks. If I had to do it all over again, I would not buy this iron. I hope this review will make someone think twice before buying this iron.
