General Comments

The CG125 is the epitome of the saying "it does what it says on the tin". It isn't a thrill a second, the handling won't have you attempting silly lean angles on every round-about, and you won't be guaranteed first away from the lights.
But the CG125 is about none of the above: it is about rock-solid reliability; it is about starting every time no matter what the weather; it is about getting you to and from work without hassle, fuss, or bother. And the CG125 does this without complaining every time.
I have had mine for four months now, and I travel 60 miles per day 5 days per week. The acceleration is effective and no more, but this is more than enough to keep you ahead of the average car - just don't try to keep up with the other bikes. Handling is fine, it turns into corners well, although you are never left with the impression that you'd like to push the bike more than is necessary. Pushing the bike does not leave you thinking you are pushing the limits: this is not the problem, it's just that the bike does not inspire you to push any limits.
Petrol consumption is good, but can vary with how you ride and handle the bike. Riding consevatively can reward you with a good few extra miles before you're pulling into the nearest garage.
The engine is effective within its limits: it is moderately powered, but gives a good power band across the revs - it will accelerate well at 20, 30, or 40mph, and feels lively at all speeds.
The seat is hard. After much more than a hour's ride, you will want a breather to stretch you legs. The tank range is also a strong point - 13 litres will give you a range of 250 miles plus before needing a refill - again, this will depend on how hard or sensitive you are with the throttle.
All in all the CG125 is about good reliable motoring, best suited to the daily communter who wishes to spend little on either maintenance or petrol. Recommended.
