Good Points

It got me from one to destination to another, good transfers oh and the wine wasn't bad..


Bad Points

Where do I start.
Bad service - rude, slow, unhelpful
Food - terrible quality
leg room - tight
movies - couldn't hear with the headsets, not a great choice and when the person in front put back their seats you had the screen about 2 inches away from your face.


General Comments

I was really looking forward to my flight as I had a very good experience with Ethihad and thought that QATAR might just pip them to the post, boy was I wrong. As soon as I sat down I realised this was an old plane, tatty, my tray was really dirty and had to be cleaned and the leg room absolutely ridiculous for the length of flight. Anyway I thought things would get better and then I was handed a stale packet of nibbles and a bloody Mary which was so strong I had to decant it into another glass and left it in the end as the tomato juice was so watered down. Things didn't get any better either, watching films, hard to hear with the headsets, poor quality and if the person sitting in front decided to move his chair back like they did then you had the screen so close to your face it made you feel sick to watch. Food was appalling, I had a chicken dish except I'm sure I never actually tasted any chicken, the only thing I really liked was cheese and biscuits and for a 9 hour flight that's not good enough. For an operator who claim they are 5 star that's rubbish, I would recommend Ethihad any day over Qatar and if they gave me just an hour I could give Qatar some ideas as to how to improve their shoddy service. I am never one to complain but given this current market if you want value for money stay away from this lot.
