First of all, it was a long hold on the phone just to sign up.
Finally, we got an appointment for a Sunday between 12-4pm. AT 3.15pm, Direct TV customer service called and said that their technician ran into some problem with the previous customer and that he will be late. They told us that he will be at our house by 5pm. At 4:30 pm they called again and told us the same story, so they said it won't be until around 6pm. At 5:30pm again the same sad story and told us around 7pm. AT 7:30pm customer service called to tell us that the technician told them we wanted to re-schedule and he is calling to confirm. No one showed up and we never heard from the technician even to ask if we wanted to schedule. We wasted 8 hours on a very nice Sunday.
The very next day I cancelled the order and even that was frustrating. Long holds again with customer service and transfers. I will inform Costco and all other businesses that promote DirectTV services. Difinitely not worth the money and time.
