General Comments

We paid £600 for a samsung tv a month ago. I had to ring tech dept as the picture doesn't seem correct, every one is short and fat. Assistant told me that it is because I am viewing analogue (I found this not very helpful) If I want an engineer to call out and it is not a fault I will be charged £35! During the course of the conversation I mentioned that I could have got it cheaper, so he told me to go to store with proof and they would refund difference. After taking printed proof after sales rang argos and told me they didn't have it in so wouldn't refund difference, if I had been told it had to be in stock I would have rung them myself. It took over 3 hours out of my day. Salesman I met didn't seem to want to know about fault, what I was going to do was buy another tv and an ipod. So it is their loss! I will go somewhere else now.

    I've been told I can get a refund on Sony TV we paid £780 and it is now £599.99. Unfortunately, because I bought it online there is no refund. In future I will be going in to the store. If the store had reduced the price, you could have got it that way.
