Good Points

Good quality, stylish design, reasonably easy to use, performs brilliantly, practically does everything you'd want a portable gadget to do..

Bad Points

Battery life is mediocre, slightly slow and laggy.

General Comments

Unlike some of the reviewers here, I have owned the phone for a few weeks now, not a first play with it in a shop. It was from Vodafone off my dads contract, the phone was £280 and my dad even got a C905 free! Unbelievable. The phone is excellent quality, nice to see it is made in Finland (country Nokia was founded in), whereas other brands are moving production to China, such as sony ericsson. The design is quite slick, the buttons are all flush unlike the raised ones on the N95. It is very similar to the N95 in terms of structure and function. It still has a dual slide mechanism, and auto screen rotation.
It has a huge 16GB internal memory capacity, and this can be upgraded to 32GB as it has a memory card slot unlike the N95. It does so many things, GPS, Internet, Video, Camera and music. I am disappointed that the QuickOffice application needs you to buy it, at £60 a time. The phone has a good quality camera, 5 MP as I was impressed with its quality. It also has another camera on the front for video messaging. The Wi-Fi and screen are good quality, I can remember Jon Bentley slated the N96 because of its poor wi-fi and screen, but to be honest, I have not had problems with these. The screen is the best quality I have seen on a phone, and i can pick up as many WLAN's as I can with a laptop.
It does have slight faults. The GPS has came a long way, but still is slow to pick up signal, it is quite slow and laggy, but this might be fixed in a firmware update. The battery life i am also disappointed with. It lasts about a day if that, so remember to keep your mains charger (which is really small, so it fits in your pocket) and your car charger which is also supplied. And please Nokia, please get some decent software designers, as the Music Transfer software is appalling.

All in all, I recommend the N96, much better than an iPhone in my opinion.
