Good Points

We loved everything about our trip

Bad Points

The only negative comment is that the variety theatre show we saw was a bit weak, but the Noel Coward piece by RADA was brilliant

General Comments

We travelled to New York on 10 October 2008 and had the most wonderful time. Very comfortable room with a little balcony from which we watched the changing sky and the QE2 which travelled alongside us on its last trip to New York. Very obliging, helpful and friendly staff, great food at all the restaurants we tried, a huge number of classes to attend and other things to do (went to dancing, watercolour painting and acting classes), wonderful formal evenings with good bands if you fancied dancing, singarounds in the gorgeous central atrium. I could go on. But if you wanted peace and quiet and just wanted to sit and read all day or play games - scrabble, chess, monopoly and others - there were lots of places you could go and not be disturbed. There is also a gym and swimming pools, though it was too cold for the outside ones, and a gorgeous little library at the top of the ship overlooking the sea where they supplied copies of lots of newspapers if you wanted to keep up with the news. There were all ages on the ship too, not just oldies. We will definitely do this trip again.
I'm baffled by the negative comments on this site, and can only think some people just can't be pleased whatever's offered to them.
