Good Points

Great value for money, very smart good looking car, comfortable seats, and very roomy inside.


Bad Points

Water pump failures can happen, and the worst the head gasket can blow.


General Comments

I got my 51 plate Rover 45 ie 16v 1.4 in July this year 2008 of eBay. It was salvage repairable it had a bump to the back, but it has been fixed professionally. It ' s not a fast zoom car like 2.0v6 on anything but mine did do great on the M4 after I picked it up from the seller. From Bournemouth I drove at about 70 to 75mph on the way back to Wales and I must say it's a very smooth and quiet ride indeed, economical to, with the medium sized 1.4 engine. Overall a very good car won ' t blow its gasket as long as you maintain it and look after it. And a very smart car from Rover what with the chrome finish and walnut interior.
