Good Points

Easy and cheap to set up on the inernet.


Bad Points

Be VERY carful whilst making a claim, I am still chasing my medical claim some 6 weeks after the reurn from my holiday, and its only for £20.00. Lack of interest from call centre staff on the telephone.


General Comments

My mother was also ill whilst on holiday with me, her medical bills were higher than mine, she was insured with direct line that paid up within 5 days and handled her claim on the phone. AA insurance asked me for my cruise ticket of which was handed in when I embarked the ship, now I am to send my booking confirmation showing how much I paid and who traveled with me for my medical claim! (I fail to see why this is necessary) - they have already had the receipts from the ships doctor with my travel dates, medical requirements and my name I feel that they are prolonging the process in the hope that most people will give up claiming for minor amounts. Please be aware that although the policy is cheap, so is the service throughout the claim process.
