Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips - (From a regular long term user of waxing products and epilator)
Good:
- hardly any preparation time
- if you get correct temperature, removes longer (over 3mm) leg hairs
- strip will stay sticky for multiple goes if you rub it tightly onto leg
Bad:
- strips are stiff = difficult on knees.
- often have to go over patches repeatedly = irritated skin
- leaves stubble
- wax comes off strips = stays on skin, gets on hands, then everything else gets stuck to you. If you use talc its useless
- using an epilator under arms and bikini is miles less painful than this product (and doesn't leave them with sticky clumps either)
- insoluble to any safe substances (i.e. have to remove it from hands with nail polish remover as moisturisers/oils/soaps don't seem to work - hence just get stuck with it on areas that have been waxed)
- tried this a few times now, both to see if it improves with practice and because there was little left on the shop's shelf...finally decided its really just not worth feeling like a fly sticker!
