Good Points

These are great Scoots, 125cc. and the power is useful, giving a top speed of around 65 mph. I'm guessing that this is the legendary "Leader" engine that is fitted. Good fuel consumption, around 80 mpg Build quality is high.

Bad Points

Fuel Gauge does not work (but this is just a problem with my particular machine, and not general rule). Parts Expensive. Silencer Wow, sky high, buy s/h off e.bay if you can otherwise £360.00 approx.

General Comments

If you want a good solid commuter Scooter that can cruise at around 60 mph, with a top speed of around 65 mph. Then this has to be on your short list. Has much in common with other Scoots with the same 125 leader engine fitted, but build quality in my opinion is high. Comfortable with good weather protection, and if you are a bit loopy (like me) fine for the Motorway (at around 65mph). I do 100 mile round trips about once a fortnight and other than boredom setting in, is fine. For a more enjoyable ride stick to A and B Roads. Like most Older Scooters mines a year 2000 can be picked up quite cheap if your lucky under £500 with low miles, make sure it has a full service history and check the exhaust for rust. Good Luck. Going to upgrade to a 250 or 500 soon.
