Clear picture, lots of channels.


Bad Points

Nothing simple, no standardization in customer service.


General Comments

I don't really have anything nice to say about Direct TV. I only used the company because my apartment complex had an agreement with them and we didn't have any choices. We were looking for basic cable and internet and that is not an option with Direct TV. That being understood, I am still extremely dissatisfied with the company in general. Everyone you talk to in customer service has a different answer for you. We were told the payment HAD to be put on a credit card, so one roommate did that for a year. When he moved out and we wanted to switch it to another name, they wanted to charge us something like $250. We called back and got another operator who not only let us do it without a charge, but let us receive a bill in the mail, like most companies. When it came time to move out, they sent us boxes to pack up our cable boxes, but wanted to charge us close to $200 AGAIN to pick up more than one box since we had 4 cable boxes in our apartment. Overall, dealing with this company was a nightmare and I will never choose to use them again.
