Good Points

Friendly staff and pleasant good service


Bad Points

Food certainly not up to standard in my opinion, no excuse for cold soup.


General Comments

I was leading a small group of people on a walk on Saturday November 1st and recommended we go to the Romper Ringway Cheshire. Unfortunately nobody really enjoyed their meal.
The baked potatoes were almost inedible as the skin was hard and the filling cold. The fish and chips were also just warm and the fish did not seem fresh.
The soup was also only warm.
The time of our arrival was 1.15 approx and I had booked a table for 1pm
I felt distinctly uncomfortable as I had recommended we went there as in the past we have been very satisfied. We were asked by the waitress if our meal was alright and as nobody wanted to offend me, nothing was said.
Also as the waiter and waitress were so pleasant we did not feel like complaining to them.
I'm afraid we all said we would not come again.
