I am actually shocked that Best Travel Store are getting ANY positive feedback. I had a terrible experience with Best Travel Store.

General Comments
I canceled my ticket to Thailand after my girlfriend broke up with me. I professed the cancellation on time and repeatedly called their customer support service. Over the next 2 months, they did everything to avoid refunding me, they said they never received the confirmation, they contradicted their stories, they sent me wrong FEDEX tracking numbers for my refund. ETC ETC ETC.

i had a similar experience. for those who will happen to read bt-store reviews on this site. notice that all those who said something "great" about this company had a 10 rating for their comments.

<br/>i had no problem buying the ticket. it was when i needed to come contact their customer service that's when i really what a mistake i had made by buying from them.
<br/>
<br/>their website said (at the time, maybe it still does) they allow one free layover in london without any changes. which means, you can decide make a change to you flight to allow you a night or couple of nights stay in london (if your flight goes thru london) without incuring any changes. guess what?

<br/>few days after purchasing the ticket, i called them up and said, hey would like to spend a few days in london so let's change from london departure date ... they were like no nop.

<br/>they told me they could have done that if i had called them prior to entering my credit card info on their website. they kept giving me a run around everyday. when you first call, their only one guy that picks up the phone.

<br/>he's very reluctant in letting you talk to anybody else besides him and it's very frustrating when you have over $1500 at stake and a very impacting travel ahead.

<br/>when i finally got to talk to someone else, they swore that they've entered some info in their system when when i get to chicago i should ask the british airways counter and they will change me iternary to allow me the couple of days stay in london. i called a few other times to make sure that such "notes" have been entered in their system. they started getting upset with me because they felt like i wasn't listening to them.

<br/>guess what readers? when i got to austin airport, they said, such change will never happen, not in austin, and certainly not in chicago and no such "notice" exist in the system. so my bags were checked straight to my destination. imagine arriving at your destination 4 days earlier than your family was expecting you. yep, no one to meet you, pick you up etc because you weren't suppose to be arriving.

<br/>they're a good site as long as you don't even up with any issues with your travels/ticket. otherwise, you're screwed. period.
