Good Points

Hall Hills has a great location - off the beaten path and tranquil with lovely views across the Cumbrian countryside. Plus the cottages with their facilities deserve the 4 and 5 stars they have been awarded.

Bad Points

I guess the absence of public transport might be a bad point but this is really a place for people with their own car.

General Comments

We have stayed twice at Hall Hills and we will keep going back. It is such an attractive spot to unwind and the proprietors are very helpful. Not only is it close to the M6 but it is also a great base for trips into the Lake District and to the numerous picturesque Cumbrian villages in the vicinity. The lanes around there are also great for cycling.
