General Comments

I have bought a rado watch from fraser hart in april 2008 from trafford centre at manchester. I have barely wore the watch for 3 times. The battery on the watch is gone now. When I went to the shop they said it will take 14 days to put battery in the watch. Is it a normal thing to happen to a watch of rado's calibre? The battery did not last for more than 6 months. I have spent fortune to get that watch. Is that the experience I get because I chose to buy a rado watch? Honestly speaking I would not recommend any of my friends and family to buy a watch which has not even got an apparently good battery. I would not recommend anybody to buy from fraser hart.

Manufacturers of all watch brands such including top brands such as Rolex, Omega, Tag and Rado put a battery into the watch when its assembled, hence why usually there is a two year cover for the battery, as from the time the watch leaves the workshop until it is sitting on your wrist you cannot be sure how long the battery has lasted. 14 Days is not unusual to change the battery as the watch should be kept water resistant and it should be sent away for the seals to be checked and for it to be pressure tested. An inconvenience yes but worth it for the quality if the watch. I wear a Rado they are brilliant!
