Good Points

The only thing good about Nokia 5000 is the looks. And that is where every thing good about it stops.


Bad Points

Very Slow OS. A memory so small that reminds you of 1970s. THE MEMORY IS NOT EXPANDABLE. Memory tends to fail causing loss of data loss of functionality loss of SMS and failing to respond and recieve SMS. Not too many functions but whatever is there can not be used on account of low memory. The camera is sligtly better than a VGA. Does not support most of audio and video formats. The battery compartment is poorly designed so that if you want to remove the battery you might damage it. And so on,


General Comments

In one word DO NOT BUY THIS. The only thing you would be able to do is to recieve calls and make them. there is no functionality mostly on part of low memory and poor quality of the memory. There are cheaper phones that can do that for a fraction of the cost of this one.

    Huh? The sales literature says that phone has a MicroSD slot. Isnt that where you can store up to about 2GB of music and photos etc?

    I posted a comment saying that I thought this phone has MicroSD card capability. This was because one advertiser implied that it has. Now I've found that you're quite correct and it hasn't. I 100% agree that a camera and MP3 player are useless with the tiny 12MB of internal memory. I would never buy or recommend this phone. The designers have slipped up.
