Getting some handsets unlocked can be a bit of a hassle. I would recommend using the gosim in a second handset.
General Comments
I use a gosim on my regular business trips abroad. I've had one or too call problems but then again, I get these on my O2 phone anyway. I think their service is first class and would recommend it to any traveller. I sometimes don't use my card for a few months but it has always worked straight away when needed without any trouble.
Great service - and there are no hidden costs which is sometimes what you come to expect with products like this which seem too good to be true. It is a pay as you go SIM that works all over the world and has saved me quite a bit of money especially on receiving calls.
