Easy to fit

loud internal siren on the control panel (can be turned off)

control panel monitors all battery levels and advises low battery (all except the siren which has its own low battery warning system)
Bad Points
most sites report this to be a 100% wireless system, this is not true
a power supply is needed for the control panel, this can affect where people site the panel or even if they want to buy this alarm.
neighbours alarm can not be heard when watching the telly (siren is at the back of the house) so another working bell box is on order.
General Comments
I have fitted 3 of these Yale Premium Alarm HSA 6400 alarms, one for myself and 2 for neighbours, the one for myself took me 5 hours to fit BUT that was due to my own inability to fully read and follow the instructions. setup is done on a table with all the items laid out ready to be "learnt" into the control panel, once setup is complete the first thing to do is fix the siren box on the wall (thats the bit i screwed up on). the others took me about 1-2 hours each.
go around then and fit all other sensors, door contacts and smoke alarms etc, learning and setting up the control panel options takes a bit of time but was exactly how we wanted it after a week of fine tuning.
i think this is a very easy to use system and reccomend it to anyone with a bit of DIY skill, the only hard bit was drilling the outside wall for the siren.
