General Comments

Having taken out a motor policy with them, I received a request asking for proof of my no claims bonus. This was sent to them twice and a third time by recorded delivery, yet they still sent me letters threatening to cancel my policy due to non receipt of NCB proof. There seems to be a huge delay between their post room and the updating of the policy databases and this causes great expenditure in time and effort because of their own inefficiencies.

    This was one of the best quotes. Sent off my NCB from my previous insurer (over nine years) 2 weeks later received a threating letter from churchill that they, never received my NCB. Phoned them and was told not to worry as they had a backlog of data to process.
    I have now been sent another letter this morning they still havent received my NCB and giving notice of cancellation of my policy. Again I phoned to no avail they dont have it and asked me to contact my previous insurer for another copy of my NCB to which I told them just to cancell the policy. I `ve been driving insured cars for 45 years and have never encountered anything
    like this.....So Beware when sending NCB make it recorded delivery.Although Im not sure if this would be a safe-guard after reading some of the posts on here.... Would not recommend this company.
