Good Points

The site was clean and tidy.


Bad Points

The fact that you HAD to order croissants and milk etc or there would be none left over. It just felt too controlling.
The fact that the bar closed early.


General Comments

We stayed here in 2004. We had a reasonable time visiting many of the towns and villages in the area. The French people were cheerful, happy, laid back and accommodating.
The proprietor of Le Moulingn Fort was anything but. He seemed to be constantly on the prowl for people who transgressed any of his personal standards.
I found him to be rude and patronising and not too tolerant of the people we became friendly with who did not share our British culture.
I would never stay at this camp site again because of the petty, impatient and intolerant attitude of the owner.
I understand the reasons for rules and collective responsibility, especially in a camp site but this was like being at school.
I lefty school 30 years ago and have held down a responsible job ever since. I don't come on holiday to be told what to do.
A lovely location spoiled, for me, by the proprietor
