Good Points

Private Caravan we eventually stayed in was good standard


Bad Points

Staff very rude and seem uninterested in holidaymakers. Charges for most things (eg. £1 for hire of swimming locker. If you have to return to it for anything it costs another £1). Reception staff should receive customer service training or retraining.


General Comments

Just returned from our first visit to Devon Cliffs. It was a late season break so we we did not expect good weather. On booking in we were placed in a caravan dirty and smelly and certainly not to the top standard we had paid for. Complained and were placed in a private good standard van. Staff were rude and kept us waiting with my 9 month old grandaughter for over 45 minutes before relocation.
Third day my daughter had her purse stolen in the amusement arcade with £170 and a £300 + mobile. Ruined the last three days of holiday. Apart from one helpful security person - no one wanted to know. Just wanted you to go away and kept giving conflicting information about CCTV pictures of the area. No warning are given by staff and no signs are placed in the arcade to warn holiday makers who are obviously there to relax. Would we return to Devon Cliffs - NEVER
