Good Points

Powerful and accurate; scope appears to be Ok; trigger pull acceptable, Great price.


Bad Points

Very "stiff" when new. You need a pet gorilla to cock the thing.
Not very "polished", cheap stock, but everything works.


General Comments

I bought the Daisy Powerline 1000 from Acadamy Sports for $79. It came with a 3-9x32 scope. My first session (after the big bang first shot) consisted of 5 scope sight-in shots. The first shot was off target. The fifth shot was center of 1" circle at 20 yds. The next five shots were all in the circle. I was amazed at this accuracy for a low cost rifle with no break in. Subsequent shots were not quite as good, but I think I may have been getting tired just from cocking the thing.

I have an XT Storm and a Big Cat and this gun appears to be equal to them so far. If I can just get the cocking mechanism to work more easily, it will prove to be a real bargin.
