Good Points

Good sevice, nice surroundings

Bad Points

The food was bland and highly priced

General Comments

While the service was good the food left a lot more to be desired.......
I started with a potato and leek soup which was bland and wasnt very hot.

The steak I had for main course was nice although there were no vegetables served with it, only jacket wedges which was a little disapointing and no mention of any mustard to go with it.

The Tiramisu that I had for sweet was the strangest I have ever had. It was dry and bland and spread over the plate - strange.

As to the wine list, it is very over-priced for the quality of wine that was available. £18 for a bottle of Pinot Grigo is extorionate.

Being a chef myself and having had the chance to eat and drink in some of the UK's best restaurants (Le Manoir, 15, Roux Brothers, Harrods, etc) perhaps my expectation is a little high but surely a good quality meal at a decent price is not too much to expect?
