More Convincing than usual

Good Points

The camera handling was less shkay than usual. The storyline tied in nicely to the previous installments. The relation between Strahm and Hoffman is very interesting. The torture is not as bad or violent as in 3 and 4. They kept is simple.

Bad Points

The ending. Huge disappointment. The pieces do not all fit together, at least not this time around. And the characters getting tortured are really not interesting at all.

General Comments

I enjoyed it much more than Saw 3 and 4, but I felt really frustrated by the end, I felt like the movie needed 15 more minutes to expand itself. I guess we'll have to wait for Saw VI but if they could find a decent storyline and keep the art direction the way it was for number 5, then it might be OK.
