-Excellent Japanese library of games! (Perfect for shmuppers like myself)
-Charming. It makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside just powering on.
-Easy to defeat region lock legally.
-Very fun!
-Multitaps allow up to 12 players! (10 player Bomberman, anyone?)
-It has the best port of DoDonPachi.
Bad Points
-Casual gamers will feel lost.
General Comments
The Sega Saturn is my absolute favourite console ever created, and for good reason! Not only is it a very fun machine, but it has very interesting history backing it up. That alone makes you feel like playing the console and I find it very special that a console can have such a property.
Also, it's the best 2D gaming console ever created. Even games from the Saturn ported to the Dreamcast are better on the Saturn.
