Highlight are a bit awkward at first but get easy with experience. Make sure that you highlight very small sections or there will be too mnany highlights. Use the wand and not the glider tool. Make sure that you mix the highlighter mix a lot or it will not apply correctly.
If you stay close to your natural color or current color, the product stays true. You must know that certain people that color their hair will turn reddish. If you have ever colored your hair before you will know this. I have used this product for about three years and have used three different shades. I have always received compliments on my color and many of my friends thought I was going to a salon.
If you apply this color right you will save $ - the rpice is generally around $15 - compared to going to a professional for $70.
