Good Points

Powerful brakes, strong frame, good starting, handles well for classic styled bike.

Bad Points

Poor seat foam and rear suspension combine to make harsh ride over bumps, underpowered engine (865cc), needs sixth gear, engine sounds like sewing machine instead of a British Twin: too quiet. Seat hard to remove to access battery and potential storage area, warning lights can't be read in sun backing too reflective.

General Comments

Ridden over 13K km.s: it's reliable and has good brakes, but find the rear suspension and seat far too harsh compared to my other bikes. It should sound like a motorcycle of its heritage: a British Twin. Swapping exhausts is expensive when it could be an affordable option at purchase time. Triumph's "off road" exhausts are NOT adequate. Nearly useless on the highway without more horse power or a sixth gear. Around town watch out for road irregularities or risk your spine. Warning lights by the speedometer and tach unreadable in daylight due to highly reflective backing that surrounds them.
