I disconnected the service after 3 days. Hoorah!


General Comments

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I had the service for 3 days and I disconnected on the 3rd day. First, I could only watch TV with my balcony door open. When it closed, my cable went out. Second, the technican used a hammer to smash the cable cord through my balcony door which created my first problem above. Third, I called directTV representative to disconnect and they were trying to bill me for the 3 days I used the service which I thought was ridiculous! Think about it, If I have to modify service, meaning, open my balcony door to watch TV then when it closes, why should I be billed? I didnt install it wrong. Fourth, I asked the respresentative to transfer me to the billing department 5 times and I said "he was the only representative that I could speak with" and he never transferred me. Minding you, we argued for 10 minutes. I got his badge number too. I had to hang up in his face to call another representative that took his badge number and she said that I would not be billed for the service I had.......What it worth it? Is this normal? Nope, choose COMCAST or Verizon.
