Better than expected, contrary to recommendations, have used it with great success, felling some trees on our property. Have found no lack of power, or vibration, when used correctly.
Bad Points
Chain Lubrication system seems to leak when not in use.
And Chain Drive cover rather flimsy.
General Comments
For the occasional use, where noise and weight could be an issue, and used with experience, I consider the Black & Decker GKC1817-GB to be quite a capable alternative tool.
Value for money, well could be a touch cheaper.
Buyers must be aware that a Chainsaw used incorrectly, is very dangerous. And should read the Users Manual thoroughly before use.
