Good Points

Lack of all driver aids other than ABS is great.
Coupe is fast, stylish and has a competent chassis/dynamics when shown a country road.
Retro interior is Pininfarina designed and adds a touch of class.
M.Schumacher owns one and if its good enough to entertain him on occasion it cant be bad.

Bad Points

Cam belts, Wishbones and strut tops are a bit of a weak point.
They like a drink of oil so this needs to be checked weekly.

General Comments

The Fiat Coupe is a unique looking car with serious sports car acceleration and it will embarrass most cars easily.
The engines are very reliable but problems will arise if you neglect the oil checks and fail to keep to the service intervals as required in the service book.
The interior of the Coupe is well put together and it is a solid feeling car. Mines done over 100,000 now and it feels like its done 30,000, no squeaks, rattles or bangs.
If you like a hands on proper sports without all the nonsense that are driver aids, then this is a car you should definately test drive, but if manual tasks like checking the oil weekly is too much bother then get something else.
The support network that is the Fiat Coupe Forum (FCCUK) is absolutely first rate. Go there and you will find loads of friendly advice from a community of helpful enthusiasts. Cant be beat when it comes to keeping your Coupe in top condition.
