General Comments

Halfords has got to be the only chain of stores whereby each store I've visited I have dealt with an employee who seems to know nothing about the products they sell. I've lost count of the number of times I've wanted to ask a sales assistant about a type of oil or car stereo connection, only to be told by someone who looks like the 17 year old student 'expert' that they 'aren't 100% sure.'

Furthermore, Halfords seems to pride itself on the cycling sections most of the stores have. Hmmm...every time I've been to one of Halfords' cycling sections there's either been no-one behind the counter or if there is, they can't help because whatever I actually want to buy is currently out of stock. My advice? If you want car stuff, go to an independent garage and if you want cycling stuff, go to an independent bike shop.
