Good Points

They feel lovely and comfy in the shop

Bad Points

As soon as you get them damp in short wet grass they leak (at least mine did)

General Comments

Here is my complaint about my nice new walking boots from brasher
During the Tip to Tip 2008 expedition which was raining loads, I decided to buy a nice new pair of brasher walking boots in Inverness.

They were lovely and warm and dry and comfy and everything that you want from a £130 pair of boots. Until I walked through some wet grass for the first time.

While walking around a 9 acre field of short wet grass, i felt what seemed to be water? no way, water? Gor Tex? Brasher? but indeed, 15 mins into a short walk on wet grass my foot is wet.

Bummer sad

Not to worry! I have purchased from the best, I have nothing to worry about here! so I sent them back to Brasher with a nice letter to the after sales Co-Ordinator, explaining the above.
After 10 days, Brasher are sending back my boots with a letter suggesting that they dont leak? but then how was my foot wet I wonder? I intend to produce a funny you tube video of my nice dry boots, walking around a field or short wet grass with my little Jack Russell 'Mia' and then my wet foot coming out. Since there tests seem to think my foot was in fact not wet at all?

Just having some fun with this now, what else am I supposed to do? lol trading standards? Advice anyone?
