Good Points

I rented a villa from Golden Key Management at Sosua and was impressed at the quality services provided and the overall condition of the villa; staff was available even for late night emergency calls if needed. They guided our group to the best places and helped make our vacation a smooth one from start to end. Sometimes you rent a villa and assistance is scarce or none, here customer service is great.


Bad Points

It rained on my first day there but I stayed for 2 weeks, it didn't matter later on. I had to wait for taxi service (30 mins one time) that`s why we were advised to rent a car, and staff from Golden Key helped us get a car rental. Usually taxis are available 24/7 but if you want to have full transportation there, you better rent a car (private drivers also available).


General Comments

The North Coast of the Dominican Republic has great beaches, nice people and many good real estate investment opportunities. Golden Key Management is a vacation rental company that actually works as a property management agency that also sells beach and ocean front properties in Sosua, Cabarete and Puerto Plata. They gave us the sales pitch when we said we loved the villa we stayed at, but the ticket price of many of these properties is too high for us. We rent a villa 2 times a year in the Sosua-Cabarete area, and growth has produced many nice vacation rental opportunities, in an unspoiled, uncrowded area. Just beware of the sankis chasing the girls for "true love"!
