General Comments

My sister and I visited Akrogiali back in August and it was great!!!!! (Well apart from the last night but all shall be revealed!!).
The room was basic, bit of a jaw dropper to be honest initially but it was clean and we only needed to sleep in it ;+) the cleaners came in daily unless they were asked not to due to us requiring luxurious lie in " well what are holidays for!!
Akrogiali was next to Seaside apartments and some nights you could hear people partying until the early hours, but then is this not why people go to KAVOS??? For its reputation of being young and lively! You can always chill, sleep in the day by the pool, have more beer or good carbs to soak up excess liquid from the night before doing it all again.
Karen and Billy were great "Lizard, no more said lol!! When the coach came to pick us up we did not want to go back to rainy England but needs must and all that. It was the first time my sister had been on a package holiday and was seriously considering returning in 2009, however...............
The flight home was ridiculous!!! It was delays 15 hours and Olympic were useless in more ways than one. We slept outside on benches "fun way to end your holiday from midnight till 9:30am!!!
Having escaped from the mosquitoes due to the plug in we bought (recommended by the way) it was in our suitcase with the rest of our luggage and we were not allowed back - we were covered in bites!!!
We asked if we could get on the EMPTY coaches going back to the resorts and would find our own accommodation for the night and come back to the airport when our flight was due to leave at 16:00 (the next day)!!! We were told we couldn't but would have gone back to Akrogiali and slept on the sun loungers which would have been comfier!!
Olympic = Chocolate fireguard comes to mind " Useless!!!!
So sorry Karen and Billy but I did promise I would write a review "thanks for a fab holiday but we will never ever, ever, ever, ever.................book with Olympic again! Plus we got £20 back on the insurance "more insult to add as the insurance was more than that"!!
