Beautiful, clean house. Wonderful staff. Great food. Most of the organisation was very good and the wedding decor was lovely.
Bad Points
Apparent lack of organisation when the guests first arrived. Nobody was available to show us to our rooms. A map was available but, owing to the size of the house, it was quite easy to get lost but this too had its fun side. As far as we are aware no announcement of the buffet in the evening was made and we missed it!
General Comments
My son and his fiance were married in the Orchardleigh church and had their reception at the house. The wedding service was quite beautiful and very relaxed. The reception was exceptional with the food lovely and the service extremely good and efficient. The staff were happy and helpful. The evening was also excellent and there was no rush to finish. Also no rush the next morning, even though another wedding was about to happen.
