Good Points

My Gibson Flying V was made in '02. I have 6 guitars but this one has a vibe and feel I have never seen or felt in another guitar. It has the moon inlay in mother-of-pearl, and the limited run of ebony fret board. I love it for it's dark black look as well as not being common fretboard wood.

Bad Points

My V came with kluson deluxe {standard} tuners and didn't stay in tune after playing hard. I have since changed those out to Sperzel locking tuners and have the most in-tune guitar in the world! It's amazing!

General Comments

I often hear "you can't play a flying v sitting down"- That's not true, just ask anyone who owns one! It'll actually lock in and hold it's position without hands-that you can't do withany other shape ie. strat, dreadnout etc. I love my V and my friends adore it's tone. Acoustically it's amazingly loud! Oh and the other amazing thing is it's the faded cherry and I spent$ 515.00! I would spend 3 x that to replace it!
