Good Points

Well organised. Great food in The Bistro. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Good size cabins. Comfortable beds. Great Shower. Bike tours are fantastic, and not as overpriced as some of the trips. Good ports of call (except only 1/2 a day in Tunis).

Bad Points

Although it was clean, the restaurants (and some aspects of the cabin) were grubby (carpets/chairs, pool towels, cushions were stained). Trips are overpriced. 'Free for all' in the Plantation and Waterfront restaurants meant it was chaotic. Tables in restaurants were cleared, but not cleaned - or food simply wiped onto the floor and left there.

General Comments

This was my 2nd cruise with Ocean Village, and I felt the quality has deteriorated. Although OV2 was only refurbished fairly recently, it needs to be done again. The food in the restaurants wasn't as good this time. Deserts were pretty much the same, regardless of what they alleged it to be. We travelled on the Tapa & Toga's / Villa's and Vino trips, and I enjoyed all of the destinations. Considering the distance from Palma, and the time you spend there ( 1/2 day), I would skip out Tunis, and replace it with Scicilly.
It is easy to travel independently from pretty much all the ports of call for a fraction of the cost of the organised trips. Whilst I appreciate OV have an interest in selling their own trips, it would be useful if the did carry some info for independent travellers (i.e. location of train station/train times) - not everyone wants to spend their whole time traipsing around with 60 other people.
Would I go again? Probably not - but never say never.
